About neo360

Built for harm reduction. Shaped by the people who deliver it.

For more than two decades, neo360 has focused exclusively on the information, monitoring and operational needs of harm reduction services. That specialist focus—and the knowledge shared by the services and commissioners who use neo360—continues to drive how the platform evolves.

We have never tried to be everything to everyone.

neo360 exists for one sector: harm reduction. That means the platform has grown around the realities of needle and syringe provision, naloxone, BBV work, injecting-risk assessment, supervised interventions, stock, referrals, commissioning and the many local services that sit around them. We believe specialist software should understand the work before it asks the work to fit the software.

Why neo360

A specialist platform, not a generic system adapted later.

Harm reduction services have distinctive needs: people may be anonymous, interventions can be brief but clinically important, activity can be high-volume, local pathways vary, and commissioners need useful information without distorting frontline practice.

neo360 has developed around those realities. The goal is simple: make recording practical for services, make information meaningful for commissioners, and keep the platform flexible enough to evolve as harm reduction itself changes.

Understand the service

Start with the intervention, the people delivering it and the information genuinely needed.

Record what matters

Support clear, configurable workflows that fit the service rather than creating unnecessary burden.

Turn activity into insight

Help services and commissioners understand delivery, trends, reach and opportunities to improve.

The people behind neo360

neo360 was founded by Nic and Ste. Both joined the British Army directly from school and, after leaving, built careers rooted in public service and in supporting public-sector organisations. That shared background continues to shape a simple belief behind neo360: good technology should improve services, represent good value and ultimately benefit the people those services exist to support.

Nic

Co-founder • Health, care & digital systems

After leaving the Army, Nic became a nurse and worked across surgery, operating theatres, psychiatry and A&E. A secondment to implement a nurse management system led to consulting roles with a number of companies, helping them develop care-based software. He later started neo360 with Ste, believing they could create high-quality, affordable solutions that would benefit both services and the people who use them.

Ste

Co-founder • Networks, infrastructure & public-sector technology

After leaving the Army, Ste established his own technology company, designing and installing networks for schools and other local-government organisations. He brought that practical infrastructure experience and long-standing public-sector focus into neo360, helping to build dependable, cost-conscious technology for organisations delivering essential services.

Experience that comes from staying close to the work

The depth in neo360 comes not only from time in market, but from repeated exposure to the practical, operational and commissioning questions that harm-reduction services face.

Harm reduction only

More than 20 years concentrated on one specialist sector rather than spreading product development across unrelated care markets.

Anonymous monitoring

Longstanding experience of supporting services where privacy, proportionality and configurable identification are fundamental to engagement.

Commissioning insight

Understanding that information must serve both frontline delivery and the wider need to monitor activity, reach, trends and commissioned outcomes.

International delivery

Deployment experience across the UK, Canada, United States and Australia has exposed neo360 to different models of service provision and governance.

How we work

Six principles keep neo360 moving forward

They are deliberately practical: listen to the sector, protect what matters, make the system useful, and keep improving it.

Listen first

Start with real service and commissioner needs before deciding what the technology should do.

Build with customers

Treat users as development partners whose experience can challenge, refine and improve the platform.

Protect privacy

Keep anonymity, proportionality, access control and responsible information use central to design.

Configure around services

Support local pathways and operating models without losing the consistency needed across a programme.

Make data useful

Recording should lead to information that helps people understand delivery and make better decisions.

Keep evolving

Harm reduction changes. neo360 should continue to change with it in a controlled and practical way.

Our real partners

Our customers are our development partners.

The most valuable expertise around neo360 sits in the services and commissioning teams using it every day. Their experience, challenges and ideas help define what should change next—keeping development grounded in the evolving needs of harm reduction rather than a generic software roadmap.

Frontline voice

Day-to-day experience reveals where workflows can be clearer, faster or more useful.

Commissioner perspective

Programme requirements help shape reporting, consistency and system-level insight.

Co-design

New ideas are tested against real service practice before becoming established functionality.

Shared learning

Lessons from one challenge can inform improvements that benefit the wider neo360 community.

Innovation driven by real harm-reduction practice

The development cycle is intentionally close to the people using the platform. Emerging needs can come from new drugs, new interventions, changing commissioning requirements or simply a better way of doing something familiar.

1

Listen

Services and commissioners identify a need, challenge, opportunity or emerging requirement.

2

Understand

We work through the workflow, purpose, data need and practical implications before designing a solution.

3

Develop

Functionality is configured or built around the agreed requirement and tested against real use.

4

Learn & refine

Feedback after implementation informs further improvement and the next cycle of development.

International perspective

Specialist focus, across different service systems.

neo360’s experience extends beyond the UK. Deployments in Canada and the United States, alongside previous deployment experience in Australia, have helped broaden our understanding of how harm-reduction monitoring must adapt to different service structures, terminology, governance and local priorities while retaining a consistent specialist core.

Our aim: keep harm-reduction technology moving at the pace of harm reduction itself.

New substances, changing patterns of use, new interventions, new evidence and new commissioning priorities continually reshape the sector. neo360’s job is to remain close enough to customers to recognise those changes and flexible enough to respond to them.
